MIAMI AD SCHOOL EUROPE'S VIRAL FINGERBOARDING VIDEO: STILL GRINDING

Back in 2003, Miami Ad School Europe was just getting started. Being the cool, ahead-of-their-time guys that they are, President Oliver Voss and Managing Director Niklas Friggs-Rupp decided to put together a little viral fingerboarding video to generate some awareness. Mind you, this is two years before anyone would ever hear the word "YouTube." These were the days when people emailed videos to each other or--rather less fequently--emailed links around.

So that viral bit of fingerboarding awesomeness made the rounds, from one email inbox to another, bouncing around all over the world, spreading the name of Miami Ad School Europe all over.
Then, seemingly of it's own volition, the video made it's way to YouTube. Someone just posted it because they though it was cool. Now, seven years later, the video has been viewed 5,752,774 times, and countless more before YouTube even existed. And, by the way, this is the first time we've blogged about it.
This is the very definition of viral distribution. It's no wonder why Miami Ad School Europe is the continent's most awarded school of its kind, just as the entire Miami Ad School network brings home more international awards than any other portfolio school, year in and year out. It's this kind of forward thinking that has made Miami Ad School the School for Pop Culture Engineering.
And now, time for a few more viewings!
